Plumber Marketing: How to Fill Your Schedule From Google Alone

Plumbing has the highest emergency intent of any local service vertical. ''My basement is flooding right now'' is a different kind of search than ''roofing companies in my area.''

That intent is Google''s problem to route. Your job is to make sure when Google routes a hot lead, it routes to you.

Here''s the plumbing playbook.

The three-page essential setup

Every plumber should have three landing pages, each with full schema, service-area mention, and a click-to-call button above the fold:

  1. Emergency Plumbing in [city] — fastest route to ranking. Customer doing a Tier 1 emergency search will book whoever shows up first.
  1. Drain Cleaning in [city] — high-volume, lower urgency, repeat customer source.
  1. Water Heater Repair / Installation in [city] — high-ticket, high-margin.

Each page: 800 words, schema (LocalBusiness + Service + FAQPage), 3 customer testimonials, click-to-call above the fold.

The phone has to be answered

Plumbing emergencies don''t wait. If you don''t answer in 3 rings, the next plumber does. Voice AI on a 24/7 line eliminates this.

Greeting: ''Thanks for calling [name], I can help you book an emergency or schedule routine service. Is this an emergency?''

If yes, transfer immediately to the on-call tech.

If no, take the booking via AI.

The review velocity

After every completed job, SMS at +30 minutes. Branded landing page. 95%+ open rate. 40-60% leave a review.

A plumber doing 40 jobs/month should clear 200 reviews in the first 12 months on the platform.

The grid scan

Run weekly. Map your top 5 keywords across your service area. Find the weak grid points. Build content for them.

What AutomationFire does

Every step above is in the platform. Voice Engine for the phone, Website Engine for the three pages, Reputation Engine for the reviews, Visibility Engine for the grid scans.
