How to Package Local SEO Services (Pricing Tiers That Sell)
Three-tier pricing for local SEO services. What goes in each tier, what to charge, and the qualifying questions that pre-sort prospects.
By Bo Smith
The fastest way to lose a sale is custom-quoting every prospect. The fastest way to undersell is having a single price.
The right answer is three tiers. Here''s how to build them.
The three-tier framework
Starter ($1,500-$2,500/month). Single location. Foundational SEO: GBP optimization, citation building, on-page basics, basic reporting. 4 GBP posts/month. Monthly call.
Growth ($3,000-$4,500/month). Single location with content depth. Everything in Starter plus: 4 blog posts/month, 12 GBP posts/month, basic content marketing, AI receptionist setup, 2x/month strategy calls.
Authority ($5,500-$8,000/month). Single location with full marketing depth. Everything in Growth plus: weekly content cadence, custom workflow automations, dedicated account manager, weekly reporting, social media full coverage.
The pricing math
If a client''s LTV from local SEO is $50K-$200K (typical for service businesses), $4,000/month for 12 months ($48K) is a defensible spend that returns 5-10x.
If you''re charging $500/month, you''re leaving $3,500/month on the table and your client thinks of you as the cheap option.
The qualifying questions
Before quoting, ask:
- ''What''s a typical job ticket size?'' (Tells you their LTV.)
- ''How many leads do you need a month to be at capacity?'' (Tells you the goal.)
- ''What''s your current monthly marketing spend?'' (Tells you their budget tolerance.)
- ''If you got 30% more leads next quarter, could you handle them?'' (Tells you if they''ll churn early.)
If their job ticket is under $500, they''re probably not a great fit at $4,000/month.
What AutomationFire does for agencies
The platform supports all three tiers. White-label, sub-account billing, scoped API keys, real API. Voice AI is in the box on every tier (so AI receptionist is included from Starter).
