How to Get 50+ Google Reviews in 90 Days Without Buying Fakes

Buying reviews is a fast track to a Google penalty and an Attorney General letter. Real review velocity is a process, not a hack.

Here''s the playbook we run for the seven local service brands on AutomationFire.

The principle

Ask every customer at the right moment. Make it easy. Follow up once.

The system

1. Identify the moment. For service businesses, the right moment is 30-60 minutes after the job is complete. The customer is happy, the work is fresh, they''re still on-site.

2. Send the ask via SMS first. SMS gets 95%+ open rates. Email gets 20-30%. The first ask should always be SMS.

3. Use a branded landing page. Don''t send people directly to Google. Send them to a branded review landing page that asks ''how was the job?'' If they say ''great,'' route them to Google. If they say ''not great,'' route them to a private feedback form. This isn''t about hiding bad reviews; it''s about catching service issues before they go public.

4. Follow up once after 48 hours. Email this time. ''Hey, just wanted to say thanks again. If you have 30 seconds to share your experience on Google, here''s the link.''

5. Don''t ask twice after that. Asking three times annoys customers and makes them less likely to leave a positive review.

6. Respond to every review. Within 24 hours. AI drafts the response, you approve.

The math

If you complete 30 jobs a month and 60% leave reviews when asked correctly, that''s 18 reviews/month. 90 days = 54 reviews. Done without buying anything.
